Upon booking a transfer, IMT staff will contact the Directors of Care for both sending and receiving facilities to ensure a proper care plan is created along with patient meal plans. Planning for long distance transfers takes careful attention to detail and IMT’s experience will ensure a safe and comfortable transfer.
IMT recognizes that patient care is the forefront of our service and offers every level of assistance required including bedside to bedside. All of IMT staff are fully trained in patient mobility. We offer break along the way to ensure the patients trip is memorable and enjoyable. IMT can facilitate stops along a lake, view points, or special places for the patient. IMT transfers include all costs for the patient during the transfer, including meals and snacks.
